Part 1: Written Report in Google Docs - TASK: Create a 2-page, double-spaced report in Google Docs (14 font) with an introduction and conclusion. Follow the example outline below to guide you. It includes the subtitles you should include. You can use the same information you used on your slide show, but you will need to add more information on the report that you learn from the websites listed above. DAY 1: RESEARCH DAY: Go to the websites and find the following information. Write some notes you learn on a piece of paper. (This is your prewriting.) 1. What is the county seat (major city in the county) 2. What is the area? 3. How did it get its name? (If this is info is available.) 4. What is its economy? This means what type of business takes place there or how do the people there make money? This could be through farming, tourism, or mining, or other things. 5. Are there recreational things people can do there? (Think about the nature the county offers. Would there be hiking in state or national parks or boating/camping at lakes or reservoirs?) 6. What are some things you could tell us about the history of this county? 7. After you read from all the websites, what are some interesting facts you learned and want to include in your report?
